As Legal Counsel Benelux at Invesdor, you play a key role in ensuring a solid legal foundation for our crowdfunding and investment activities in the Netherlands. You work closely with colleagues across the business — including investment teams, operations  and customer support — and you are part of our international legal team. You combine legal expertise with a pragmatic mindset: translating complex legal scenarios into clear, workable solutions that support both investors and entrepreneurs.

How you’ll make that happen:

• Proceed the legal due dilligence of companies or crowdfunding projects looking for a financing on our platform d Draft and review contracts and other disclosure documentation for crowdfunding campaigns
• Create and arrange deeds for collaterals and securities for debt projects
• Onboard institutional Dutch investors
• Perform the Dutch legal clearing process until payout
• Execute transfers of investments of Dutch investors
• Be responsible for monitoring and adjusting payment plans and for filing of all Dutch contracts
• Support customer service to answer questions of legal nature Be in the lead for the Dutch claim management process in case of  restructurings, payment delays,  non-performing bonds and legal enforcement steps
• Translate legal documents and information (Dutch to English and English to Dutch) Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and implications Ensure legal documentation is aligned with applicable regulations and internal policies
• Contribute to continuous improvement and harmonisation of legal templates, processes and standards 
• Collaborate with the international legal team to align approaches across countries
• Accompany conversions of convertible bonds
• Coordinate cooperation with external legal advisers in the Netherlands
• Support the Chief Legal Officer in compliance matters, regulatory matters and in communicating and reporting with the Dutch Financial Authority (AFM)

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience, gained at:
  • a crowdfunding or investment platform,
  • a fintech, bank or investment firm, or
  • a law firm with a focus on finance and/or corporate law
• Solid experience with contract drafting and review in an investment or financing context
• Affinity with crowdfunding, investing and financial products
• Experience with or interest in restructuring cases and distressed situations
• The ability to translate legal complexity into clear, pragmatic advice
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
• A structured, accurate way of working and a strong sense of ownership
• A collaborative mindset — you enjoy working closely with non-legal colleagues in an international setting
